We are a spirit-filled body of believers, sustained by our personal relationship with the Lord, empowered by our commitment to community, and expressed through outreach to others.

Our desire as a church is to exalt Jesus Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to work freely as He wills. Jesus alone is the “Head of the Church” and solely responsible for the transformation of lives. He said, “If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me.” John 12:32

Victory was founded in 1990 in Somerset Kentucky by Founding Pastor Mark Harrell and his wife Jeanette. They both served the church for 32 years before handing the church to Senior Pastor, Chris Edwards in May of 2022. Pastor Chris has been on staff with Victory since 1999 as an Associate Pastor serving the local area before transitioning to Senior Pastor. Pastor Chris and wife Chrissy love the family here at Victory and have dedicated themselves to continue to build on the foundation established by Founding Pastors Mark and Jeanette Harrell.
